Command Biographies
2d LAAD Bn Commanding Officer
Lieutenant Colonel Bradley S. Creedon

Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Creedon was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in History, he attended Officer Candidate School in the fall of 2004 and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.

After finishing The Basic School, Lieutenant Creedon attended the Air Defense Control Officer Course, in Twenty-Nine Palms, California where he was designated a 7210.

Upon graduation, in Nov of 2005, he was assigned to Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 1 where he held various billets within the Tactical Air Operation Center Detachment.  During this tour, Lieutenant Creedon deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In 2009, Captain Creedon checked into Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Base Hawaii.  He served as the Headquarters Company Commander and the Operations Officer, he also deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  In 2012, Captain Creedon attended the Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, Virginia.

In June of 2013, Captain Creedon returned to MACS 1, serving as the Detachment Commander and the Squadron Operations Officer after being promoted to the rank of Major.  Following this tour in 2016, Major Creedon was assigned to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1 in Okinawa, Japan.  He served as the Wing’s lead planner for multiple exercises in the Indo-Pacific.

In 2018, Major Creedon reported to MACS-4 and served as the Squadron’s Executive Officer.  Following this assignment, Major Creedon, reported to Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS and obtained a Master’s degree in Operational Studies.  During this time he also graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master of Science in Project Management.

In June of 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Creedon was assigned as the Executive Officer of Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School, Twenty-nine Palms, California and served in this billet until June 2022.

Lieutenant Colonel Creedon assumed command of 2d Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion on 9 June, 2022.

Lieutenant Colonel Creedon’s personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
