MACS-2 Executive Officer
Major Eustratios N. Keramidas

Major Eustratios Keramidas graduated from Pennsylvania State University and was commissioned as a second lieutenant through the Officer Candidate Course.  Upon graduation from The Basic School, 2ndLt Keramidas reported to Marine Air Control Squadron 2, Cherry Point, NC.

While at MACS-2, Captain Keramidas deployed as the Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Team (MMT) Leader on the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) from 2012 until 2013.  After returning from the 26th MEU, Captain Keramidas served as the MACS-2 Adjutant for six months, prior to assuming command of Marine Air Traffic Control (MATC) Detachment Charlie, Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, NC from 2014-2016.  

Following his tour at Cherry Point, Captain Keramidas was stationed aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan where he served as the Air Traffic Control Facility Officer from 2016-2019.

After his tour at MCAS Iwakuni, Major Keramidas reported to Marine Corps University where he attended resident Command and Staff College (CSC) from 2019-2020.

Following graduation from CSC, he then reported to MACS-2 where he currently serves as the operations officer.  

His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
